Raven Mountain: A Mythic Tale

In 1867 Johnny Redfeather, of mixed Cheyenne/Irish heritage, is pursued to Green River, Wyoming by Jake Bulger, who seeks revenge for Redfeather’s killing of his brother Hank in a Civil War POW camp. Determined to preserve his Cheyenne identity, and to save himself, his Cheyenne identity, his adopted daughter Amanda, and his pregnant lover Courtney Dillard from Bulger’s vengeance, Redfeather retreats to his remote cabin on  Raven Mountain where he believes that his god, Mah’eo, and the mountain itself will protect them. Raven Mountain is a poignant testimony to the importance of cultural heritage in human lives.
